How to Pack for Your RV Excursion
There's hardly any better way to experience our beautiful country than Cruise Inn camping. Whether you plan to post up at one of our RV parks or hit the trails near your campgrounds, it's important to bring the proper clothing and supplies. Here are four things you can't leave home without.
Food and Water
One of the great aspects of seeing the country in an RV is that you can stock up on plenty of food and water to last well past your vacation. Perishable items like dairy and meat are typically not recommended for tented camping, but will do just fine in your RV refrigerator. Pack enough for three meals and a couple of snacks per day. Bring more water than you think you'll need.
It's good practice to expect the unexpected when it comes to camping. This means bringing proper maintenance supplies and equipment in the event you run into RV troubles. Be prepared to handle unforeseen plumbing, electrical, and air conditioning issues should they arise.
While it's our goal to make your stay comfortable, you should always keep a first aid kit handy aboard your RV in the event of an emergency.
Spend some time learning about the weather in your destination before you go. Bring clothes to fit all scenarios, and be sure to pack extra warm clothes in the event of a power outage.
By taking the time to pack properly beforehand, you'll be on the road to a fun and carefree RV adventure.
